Good arm load
Your hitting arm is loaded properly, so you can whip it through the ball for more power.
Indoor and beach volleyball
You know exactly what kind of player you want to be. The spike that lands, the pass the setter never has to chase. Younalize shows you what's still standing between you and that player, in your own footage.
1400+ players in 90+ countries film themselves with Younalize.
Matt van Wezel wrote the rules behind every analysis.
"I used to need someone to film me and a coach with time to spare. Now I film myself after training and I know before my shoes are off."
Note for Younalize: this block is reserved for a well-known volleyball face. Swap in the name, photo and quote once the ambassador is confirmed, and delete this note.
What you get back
Green where it works, orange where it can be better. Every note is pinned to the exact moment in your movement where it happens, so you're never guessing what went wrong.
Your hitting arm is loaded properly, so you can whip it through the ball for more power.
Rotate your hips further. That's how you build more speed and hit harder.
The difference
A model that works out for itself what your movement should have looked like is still guessing. Younalize works the other way around. Matt van Wezel has written down what matters in each technique, from the angle of your arm to the moment your hips turn. Your movement is checked against that. If you get a note, there's a rule that says why.
What you get out of it
After a match you know your pass was off. Just not why. Younalize looks only at your movement, even the day after, while you still remember exactly how it felt.
Juniors or the first team, your movement is checked against the same rules. The feedback doesn't get stricter or softer because you're playing in a different gym.
Your recordings and the analysis that came with them stay in the app. That serve from last month is right there to watch back, with the notes you got at the time.
Your phone is enough. No sensors, no special camera. Living room, garden or beach works just as well as the gym.
This is how you get there.
How it works

Jump serve, float serve, the passes, the spike. Beach volleyball too. We keep adding techniques, so check the app for what's ready now.

Record in the app or upload a clip you already have. Selfie mode lets you film yourself, so you don't need anyone holding the phone. Put your phone down so your whole movement is in frame, from approach to landing.

Your analysis takes 10 to 20 seconds. You get a push notification as soon as it's ready, and the notes are already drawn on your own video, at the moment they happen.
Where you start
Download the app, record one serve and see what comes back. The Try-out plan gives you 2 free analyses every month. Upgrading can wait until you're using it every week.
Download the appYounalize for every member of the club, from the youngest juniors to the first women's and men's teams? Tell us how many teams you have and we'll look at what's possible.
Pricing
Every plan gives you the same feedback. The only difference is how many analyses you get each month. Film once a week and Try-out won't cover it.
Cancel any time, from the app or your store settings.
Before you ask
Usually 10 to 20 seconds. You get a push notification the moment your analysis is ready, so you can put your phone away in the meantime.
No, your phone is enough. Selfie mode lets you film yourself, and a teammate or a tripod works just as well.
The app doesn't decide for itself what good looks like. Matt van Wezel has written down, technique by technique, what a good serve or spike actually has to look like. Those rules are fixed, and your footage is checked against them, so every note you get traces back to one of them. Younalize was built with input from world-class volleyball coaches.
No, beach is analysed too, indoor and sand alike. We started with indoor because it's the sport we know best, and more techniques are on the way.
We store your videos securely and we don't sell them on. The privacy policy sets out how we handle your footage.
On the Try-out plan you get 2 more every month. One recording you send for review counts as one analysis. If you film more often you can move up to a bigger plan, and you can cancel any time. Your older recordings and analyses stay in the app.
Film one serve tonight. Come next practice, you'll know exactly what to work on.
